I am committed to ensuring our first responders have the financial support, technology, and equipment they need to keep our families and neighborhoods safe. We will work to make Homewood a destination where top-tier public safety professionals want to serve, protecting both residents and businesses with excellence. 

Traffic and Neighborhood Safety

Recognizing the rapid growth of Homewood, I will advocate for a proactive and comprehensive citywide traffic calming strategy. I will initiate a structured plan to address current concerns and anticipate future issues, balancing the needs of local businesses with the safety and tranquility of nearby homes, sidewalks, and streets.

Restoring Public Trust in City Finances

Following a $1 million embezzlement scandal and mismanagement of city finances, I will continue supporting the “Homewood Trust” initiative. This effort promotes transparency and accountability by implementing strong financial oversight, best practices, and safeguards to protect taxpayer dollars. Using my business and management background, I will work to make sure you never have to worry about where your money is going.

Representation and Community Engagement

With recent changes reducing the number of Wards and Council members, I am dedicated to ensuring every resident still has a voice. City meetings aren’t always on your schedule and you shouldn’t have to mine through hours of meeting videos to learn what’s happening in your city. I will hold regular town halls, launch an online feedback portal, and collaborate with the city manager, mayor, and fellow council members to form neighborhood advisory committees. These efforts will ensure local voices are heard on zoning, development, and infrastructure issues unique to each neighborhood. 

Transparent and Proactive Communication

I will champion the creation of a modern city communication platform that ensures all residents, regardless of schedule or location, receive timely updates on city issues, council decisions, and upcoming initiatives. Just as a business must communicate clearly with its team and customers, I will help Homewood implement systems that foster informed and engaged citizens.

Keeping Our Schools Strong

So many families like our’s choose Homewood because of our #1 Ranked City Schools. Our job on the council is to give Homewood City Schools the support & resources to make sure it stays that way. Strong schools means strong neighborhoods, strong families, and a strong Homewood.

Supporting Small Businesses

Homewood thrives because of its exceptional locally owned businesses that are invested in our community. As a Homewood business owner and former Chamber of Commerce member, I will be a strong advocate for policies that encourage small business growth, protect Homewood’s unique charm, and support entrepreneurs in navigating city processes effectively. 

Smarter City Processes

Navigating city codes and ordinances should not be difficult. I will lead efforts to use technology to make rules and procedures more accessible and understandable. Clearer processes will reduce confusion, ease the burden on city staff, and empower residents and business owners to comply confidently with city regulations.
